陈旭：失落的缝隙

BAproject 计划单位欣然呈现艺术家陈旭的首次个展“失落的缝隙”。文明推翻并不断尝试超越自然，从零建立起人类中心主义的嵌套系统。社会机器不断被人为标准化的过程是进步的表征，也不断消解着创造力与独特性。本次展览呈现出艺术家陈旭在创作中不断试探“个体性差异”与“标准形制”之间的张力，也是艺术在挣脱与约束过程中所不断逃往的陌生地带。

BAproject is pleased to present CHEN Xu's first solo exhibition, “Non-sites”. Civilization has continuously attempted to transcend nature, creating systematic rules to remanage the world. The process of artificial standardization is a sign of progress of civiliaztion, but also constantly dissolves creativity and uniqueness. This exhibition presents the tension between “individual difference” and “standardized form” that artist CHEN Xu is constantly exploring in his art practices, as well as the unfamiliar terrain to which art is constantly escaping in the process of breaking free from constraints.
